About cloud painting…
I've spent some time learning how to paint clouds I think they are fascinating because they are so beautiful and on almost any summer day in Houston when the sun is out, all you have to do is look up. You can be welcomed by the beauty of the sky. They are like an upside-down world to me because you can see their bottoms first. They are light and majestic, the opposite of what it feels like to paint. When I paint I usually feel pinned to the earth. To paint a cloud I have to let go and hope for the best outcome.
