The scene is Tranquility Park in Houston on the day of George Floyd’s Memorial service. In it we see the broken and shattered dreams of Black Americans and yet, deeper inside the reflection, we see a fractured society in the process of reforming. The painting was part of Archway Gallery’s Black Lives Matter - Time for Change! exhibition.
